NEW TO THIS SITE

HELLO EVERYONE, I AM NEW TO THE SITE AND WANTED TO INTRODUCE MYSELF. I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING VINTAGE RADIOS FOR ABOUT 4 OR 5 YEARS NOW. I MAINLY COLLECT EYE-TUBE SETS AND HAVE COLLECTED ENOUGH THAT FRIENDS AND FAMILY THINK I HAVE GONE OFF THE DEEP END. FORTUNETLY MY NEW WIFE LIKES THEM BUT SHE TOO THINKS I AM A LITTLE CRAZY FOR HAVING SO MANY.
I DON'T HAVE A VERY STRONG BACKGROUND IN ELECTRONICS BUT HAVE LEARNED A LOT SINCE I COLLECTED MY FIRST TUBE SET. FORUMS LIKE THIS ONE HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN MY UNDERSTANDING OF TUBE RADIOS. I AM STARTING TO GET TO THE POINT WHERE I HAVE DONE SOME MINOR REPAIRS ON MY OWN AND HAVE EVEN PURCHASED SOME TEST EQUIPMENT AND OTHER ITEMS NESSARY FOR WORKING ON THEM. I HAVE EVEN DONE SOME MINOR CABINET REPAIRS. I HAVE SO MUCH TO LEARN ,AND SINCE I DO NOT LIVE ANYWHERE NEAR A VINTAGE RADIO CLUB, SITES LIKE THIS ARE INVALUABLE.
SOME OF YOU IN THIS FORUM I RECOGNIZE FROM OTHER FORUMS AND HAVE BEEN A GREAT HELP IN THE PAST (EXRAY TO NAME ONE) SO I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO ASKING A LOT OF QUESTIONS IN THE FUTURE.
