Radio and TV inventory for sale, Pics added

Post by Switcher on Sat Apr 04, 2009 3:26 pm

Have been asked to clean out an old radio and TV shop inventory. The lady's father has finally allowed her to dispose of the inventory.
There are approximately 50 plastic drawer bins that are just chucked full of you name it. About 1500 drawers in total.
All of the radios, TVs, test gear, tubes and books had already been scooped up by the local Ebay hounds.
This store was functional from late '50s to late 90's.

VCR parts: rollers, belts, plastic gears ----
Turntable parts: needles, rubber drive wheels, cartridges ---
8 track parts: rollers, belts ---
Component stereo parts: knobs, audio amplifiers, ICs ---

These are all new components.
He was a repair center for most major brands of the time.

All sorts of transistors and other componentes that an old tube guy can't even identify let alone use.

The only piece of gold that I found for my own use was a small coil winding jig and some real fine coil wire.

I would like to sell this stuff as one lot, but would like to keep the bins.
I will post some pictures later this weekend.

I really would hate to throw this stuff out but I don't have the room.
Willing to travel and work with you on the shipping costs.

Here are some pictures finally.
Four types of bins were used to hold this inventory

These are 50 drawer metal bins and there are 17 of them

These are 30 drawer plastic bins and there are 9 of them.

These are 15 drawer plastic bins and there are 20 of them

These are the 21 drawer plastic bins and there are 4 of them
For a total of over 1500 drawers full of this inventory.

The following is just a sample of some of the labeled parts that are found in theses bins.

Please direct any inquiries to my profile email.
