IF coils needed

Post by Switcher on Mon Mar 02, 2009 3:12 am

Rogers Majestic Model M-15 Which I believe to a Majestc radio

I've removed the can and also the top adjustment pad.

The coil has two forms one, inside the other.
The inner form has one winding. It's open

The outer form has two windings on it. One is open
Yes, if I can not find the coil I need I will try to disassemble and rewind.

Here is a look at the rest of the mess that I have to clean up from the previous (restorer's) good quality work Rolling Eyes

This one may take some time.

You might be able to repair it using the method described in note 7 at the bottom of this web page:

Thanks DA. I've used that method before, but I thought I would troll for a replacement first and if not then on to the surgery department. Thanks.
