It finally started to rain. Not a drop fell in June and July posted a low rain fall for our area. Aug is starting off wet. Been raining for 5 days, on and off, now. Very Happy

We've been getting dry thunderstorms. Little to no rain.
Our rainfall total for this area so far for this summer is less than 2".
Tampa has had alot, and, Clearwater quite a bit.
Even the weeds are dying here, again.
Yet, the heat, and, humidity have been horribly high.
Av. temp. 93 degrees F.
Av. humidity 100 percent.
Not good.

We havent had a true summer yet. Its been high 80's and plenty of rain. Almost ideal. Feels more like late spring than late summer. I'm not complaining.

We've actually had an amazingly cool summer here in Arkansas. The last 10 days of June were around 98-99 degrees, but July generally stayed in the mid to high 80s for high daytime temperatures. They say it's the coolest July in the history of the state. August, however, is a little warmer with daytime temps around 90-93. I can live with that. It's usually high 90s to over 100 here in August. We've been very lucky this summer so far.

It's supposed to be in the mid to high 80s here for daytime high temps through next Tuesday.
