And,

Isn't it a beuty?? I like the rounded edges, and, the four square feet with heavy felt pads.

It's in the line up afterr other repairs are finnished.

I traded a forum member a Hickock tube tester to get this gem.....

It has the original back cover.

The dealer that sold it on ebay had it plugged in. It actually showed ...

Philco Predicta CRT tester

Hi guys

Looking for a recommendation for a used CRT tester to test the CRT's on two Predictas I own. A 17 inch and Predicta Holiday. Don't need it for anything else just possibly for any 50's era ones. And since my budget is tight at the moment "Cheap is good"

And if that 17 inch CRT tests good and the repair pans out I'll possibly need a screen cover as well. Right now however I'm concentrating on a CRT tester.

I'll post this on ARF as well.

Not going to buy ...

I was browsing through the local CL listings last night and found a Truetone roundie up for grabs. It's probably a CTC-16 clone but appears to be in good shape. I contacted the owner today and got it. Best part about it was that it was free!

We have an old Zenith television in the basement of my wife's childhood home. The only marking we see is the T2222E. Curious about how old it is and how "rare" it is. It measures 22" diagonal screen. We think it was purchased around 1950. Does that sound correct? Wife and SIL turned it on today and the screen lit up then went dark. Just curious of the history of this set. Thank you for any info. David
