I am a beginner and have no idea about how to troubleshoot this circuit to find the trouble. I've searched the internet and can only find info on how to use the audio oscillator as a troubleshooting tool, nothing on how to trouble shoot a tube audio oscillator. Thanks in advance for any ... Finally realized there was no retrace blanking on the "A" time base. Found a bad 2N2207 in the blanking circuit. After an hour of searching on the net, I found one, NINE BUCKS for a 40 year old TO-5 PNP ho-hum transistor (gotta keep it original Ya Know). Worse yet, I had to buy 6 of em to get to the fifty buck minimum. Good part is, I'll never have another one ...
