My new toy arrived!!!
A 1949 Bendix 10" table model tv in a mahogany case. Isn't it a beuty? Here are two pix after cleaning it, and, replacing one of the missing knobs.

And,

Isn't it a beuty?? I like the rounded edges, and, the four square feet with heavy felt pads.
It's in the line up afterr other repairs are finnished.
I traded a forum member a Hickock tube tester to get this gem.....
It has the original back cover.
The dealer that sold it on ebay had it plugged in.
It actually showed a partial raster!!!

That is pretty. At a quick glance I would take it for a radio that somebody cleaned the markings
off of the dial.

There are no missing markings. It is a large channel selector knob with a small window. The numbers are on the dial escutcheon.

Re: My new toy arrived!!!
Well, since I'm presently at a standstill on my prized tv, the family RCA due to bad controls I need to replace, I'm gonna put the Bendix back on the bench, and, continue re building. Have one good 10BP4 that I'll use in it.
Electrolytics are almost totally replaced, then, on to the paper capacitors.
It will go on bench next week.

Well, Bendix is back on the bench, and, I'm resuming work on it. It's going to take awhile. Most electrolytics are now replaced. I'll post a picture of how it's coming....
